Our Mission
East Allen Township Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history of community landmarks. The goal is to retain uniqueness for current and future generations in promoting education and history.
About Us
The Society was officially formed by unanimous vote from the East Allen Township Board of Supervisors on August 24, 2023. Prior to this vote, local residents had met to discuss the possibility of forming a group to preserve the Dech House.
We welcome residents of East Allen and surrounding communities to join our efforts in preserving our local history and landmarks. Meetings are open to the public.
The Deck House and surrounding property is owned by East Allen Township and overseen by the
East Allen Township Historical Society.
